But it seems to help.

Seems to help but I think colloidal silver might work more specifically for my dog's yeast hot spots. I probably won't buy this again.

Pros
  • SAFE INGREDIENTS: This safe and mild pet skin irritation medication is made from natural ingredients and may help speed healing of localized wounds caused by scratching, chewing and licking. This hot spot treatment for cats and dogs can be used for a long time.

Very useful - paw protection

The cat's new owner. Used it on my cat who had a hot spot and it worked. Cooled her down a bit and she stopped licking the spot. It is best if you receive it as soon as you notice the stain. Grateful for other reviews that helped me give it a try. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • FOR PETS OF ALL AGES: HomeoPet for skin care of dogs and cats is well tolerated, safe, gentle and natural with no known side effects. It can be used on pets of all ages and even birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and other animals.
Cons
  • Long wait

Finally something that works!

Our cat developed hot spots from surgical stress and allergies. They took him to the vet. All he could offer were steroids and a "cone". The steroids made her feel awful! And the thought of the cone on the cat was terrifying. We thought we would have to put her to sleep to end her suffering. Then we started using Hot Spots and Allergy Drops. It took a while, but IT WORKS! 3 x daily 5 drops in a small amount of wet food. Then, when the ulcers have healed, reduce to 4. If still good, reduce…

Pros
  • chemical free; uses only the purest, naturally grown raw materials
Cons
  • Almost never

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

Item no. When it works, it's like a miracle for my little Zebbie and guarantees me a good night's sleep. He regularly gets big pimples as we think he's allergic to flea saliva, especially after going to the barber. It is regularly protected from fleas every month and in 8.5 years we have never found a single flea on it. My guess is they jump on it and leave saliva and then die or jump off. Over the years we have tried everything to bring him relief. This product seems to give him the most…

Pros
  • No known side effects; safe for kittens, puppies, pregnant and lactating animals
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it promises

Didn't work wonders for us

This product seems to have helped my only cat with hot spots a bit. I was wary of the drops when a user mentioned the ingredient list and I was very skeptical of them, but tried them anyway and within a few months she seemed to be less picking at her cracked skin. Whether it's directly related to the drops or not, the first night I put the *recommended amount* of drops in her food, she vomited—a lot. She had done this before when she ate too quickly, but this night was much longer than usual…

Pros
  • Clinically used on dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets and belly pigs
Cons
  • Clarity
