First thing I liked was that there was a foldable handle at the top of the splash guard for easy storage. However, when I actually used it, all of the pen that went through the screen was smudged. My oven was covered in grease and it was just a big mess. As if there was no colander at all over the pan. Don't waste money.

I received the product wrapped in plastic as if it were brand new but when I opened it I found 3 or 4 stains in the product, they looked like grease or paint , not sure what it is but looks old and used. This is unacceptable and I will refund the money in full. I messaged the seller about this before leaving feedback but he never replied.

They are of good quality and the handles on the top make it easy to put on and take off. Some people comment on how thin and light these screens are, but I don't see that as a problem. I've used very heavy and strong screens, but if left uncared for they pop off their hinges just as easily. Be careful with them and keep them where they can't be damaged and they will be fine.

The mesh is so thin that large drops of oil penetrate. I've used this in deep frying and haven't noticed any reduction in oil splatter volume. The screen was greasy when I was done so it was obviously stopping some of the oil, but since I was still splashing I'm guessing drops went through the mesh with enough energy and reformed on the other side. You can put a paper towel down. above the top of the screen and this will help stop larger drops.

This is one of the best screens I have ever used. They actually have a handle on top that makes it easy to remove and put back on the pan. The screen is very tightly woven, resulting in less or no grease spatter compared to other cheaper models. The weight is heavy enough not to fall off like other splash guards that are light weight with a long pan handle that keeps falling off. I highly recommend purchasing this item.

For a cheap item - normal. I'm not saying it's cheap and flimsy, but when I think about it, the little stylus sits in the center of the screen with no support for any bars, clearly designed for cheap production. However, this is normal. The small handle slides up and locks into place so you can grab it with a kitchen mitt when needed and fold it down for storage. all metal. I use them every day with pans and even my deep fryer. They work very well, are easy to clean and prevent further cleaning later on. One note - the rims can get quite hot and make sure the lifting tab is facing the ceiling and not lying flat as these tabs can get very hot if left in a horizontal position. . Be careful!
