I use this in my grow room, connected to a timer to provide fresh air. Since I installed it, it has worked flawlessly and is not too loud. It moves enough air for my needs and it's not too heavy in my grow tent. 5" is a pretty odd size so I only use 5" to 6" adapters and even with a larger vent it still pushes out enough air. This fan is very well made and doesn't rattle during use. It is no problem using this with a timer or thermal switch.

I was hoping this would be a one stop solution for ventilation in my greenhouse, but unfortunately there are a couple of major downsides. First of all, it is a set of two very different products. The fan itself is great. I have no problem with that. This is a durable non-metal axial fan that isn't too noisy and can use a little back pressure.
