🔗 Honyear Zip Ties 500 Pcs: Self-Locking Nylon Cable Ties - 4/5/6/8/10 Inch, Black, UV Resistant, Heavy Duty Review

I own a wildlife center and we use zip ties every day of the year to fix cages, hanging baskets and all sorts of other projects. This is the worst thing I've ever used. They break like cheap strings at any tension. Refund received!

. So disappointed with it. Absolute garbage product. Large sizes are not large. At least half of them will break trying to close them. The fragile plastic latch breaks when the tie is pulled into the lock. Lesson learned. Don't hesitate to buy them.

Can't complain about the price. Had I known how thin they are I might have spent a little more for a more durable product. I used the larger ones on the outside to attach the fence to the T-posts. Works for my purpose but not sure how they will last through the season but for ease of use I'm happy to replace them every year or so.

I never know what size wrist or paw I need to tie, so this multi size set is just perfect! Very heavy and durable, even outdoors. Big or small critters will have a hard time escaping. (Okay, seriously, no living organisms are threatened here. Just trying to make a pretty standard VERY good product more interesting.)

At first I liked them, but after a few months they break, and this is new out of the box. Last month I used the second largest and only one out of five didn't break. The smaller size is better but I still have a break in 10. They are not stored at high or low temperature, I haven't done anything, they are just impermanent.

Large range and the price is right. but they aren't nearly as strong as the nylon zip ties you buy at the hardware store. In fact, I don't even think it's nylon. They are slightly weaker and more elastic. But unless you need them for mission-critical projects where they're going to be subject to a lot of stress or strain, they're fine.

One pulled out, wrapped around the large dowel, secured and snapped off the dowel. WTF!? I'm super? no Am I a circus strongman? no But I have to be a cool guy. no Let us try again. He pulled out the second, wrapped it around the dowel and tightened it. This time, safely and without hesitation, with all the power of a thousand arm wrestling champions. and click. That second cheap piece of plastic broke. So yes. screeds do not. trash ties.

From a technical point of view they are fine. The UV resistance aspect is great and much needed. The fact that the strips are only scored on one side explains my "Two" rating. I often use zipper strips in awkward places where I can't see what I'm doing (gardening, not spy novels). It's very frustrating to wade through all the vegetation with your hands and build everything up only to have it all break loose because you put the wrong side in a pin you can't see.

I bought these to install a built in water filter on the back of my fridge. I cleaned the back of the fridge, attached 5 adhesive mounts and tied the filter to the mounts. I then attached 2 side by side to neatly manage the excess water line. After 5 minutes I heard a loud noise and all 7 fasteners came loose. I tried again, this time attaching 7 to the water filter and 3 to the plumbing. This also took about 5 minutes. Currently the water filter is securely attached - with zip ties - to 7…
