Mainly used for water flow in one direction. Water is only allowed to flow in one direction to prevent accidents caused by water backflow. Brass. Will not be easily corroded. Allow water flow from 1/2 inch Female thread to 1/2 inch Male thread. Backflow preventer. Used for water tower, water heater and toilet. When purchasing and installing, pay attention to the flow of liquid. If the installation is reversed, water will not come out.

Works best in hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

Validation closes all upstream. works well. This is not a full port. It shrinks significantly. The threads are easy to cut. Very easy to install. I love this product. I hope this review was helpful. Thank you.

Do not use RV pump outlets.

Excellent workmanship, installed with no problems, but the RV pump's output ranges from 35-45psi and is barely enough to open this valve. So the pump would beep, stop thinking the system was pressurized, then the valve would open a little, the pressure would drop through the valve, then beep, pause, beep.
