Perfect fit for wiring

The Hopkins Multi Tow Wiring Kit is an exact OEM part for my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT. Installation took about 30 seconds to connect and snap the bumper into place. The included bracket did not have to be used. The goods were shipped quickly and arrived within a few days. Save $$ by not buying from a GM dealer. I would give this product 10 stars if that option was available. Thank you for a great piece and a great offer.

This is the same Ford factory installed

I had to replace this on my F150 after someone hit my truck from behind and the body shop failed to notice that the rear wiring connector tab had broken off the connector at the time , so not replaced. In any case, it's the same product that Ford installed when the truck just left the factory, even with the same make on it, so Ford should be using these guys as parts suppliers. The last one held up well for years until it was hit so no complaints from me.

2011 Ford F150 fits perfectly

Fits perfectly on my 2011 Ford F150 with tow kit. Folds in straight away. You don't need the included bracket. An existing truck wiring harness with its terminating connector is a perfect match for this new connector. If you want to replace the truck wiring harness connector, it is a perfect match for the POLLAK 11-998 4' Pigtail Harness. FYI: The harness wire colors match the 2011 F150 truck wire colors - white to white; blue to blue; brown to brown; green to green; yellow to gray with blackโ€ฆ

3.5 stars if I could. As a result, it rusted quickly.

Fairly good quality socket. The actual part of the socket which I would give 5 stars for if I could. Good strong connection and good sealing on the lids. However, the mount disappointed me. Within 2 months I noticed that it was starting to rust a little around the edges and now after just over a year almost all of the trim has peeled off revealing a fully rusted bracket. I could take it off and clean it but wish the manufacturer had used a better finish. For this reason I am actually betweenโ€ฆ

Ideal replacement; disconnecting the old one was the hardest part

This multifunction socket appeared to be identical to my broken stock socket. The hardest part of the installation was unplugging the stock wiring harness from the existing connector. The locking tab was on top (next to the body) and under the plastic cover. I had to slide the entire OEM cable/socket through the hole in the bumper until I could see the locking tab and figure out how to pull it off. Returning with a new outlet was a breeze. I didn't need the supplied bracket for my applicationโ€ฆ

A must if you own a Nissan Titan! See photos!

Look at the pictures so everything makes sense! I've just bought a new Nissan Titan (2018 model) and it didn't come with a tow hitch or wiring harness. After purchasing this harness, I found that the bracket that came with it didn't easily attach to the underside of the bumper, so I crawled under the truck to find another place to attach it. To my surprise, I found that the Titan's factory wiring harness is exactly the same as this one, but it's covered in plastic. I drilled some holes and cutโ€ฆ

Looks good on a 2006 Ford F-150 but requires special equipment

The original connector on my 2006 Ford F-150 was cracked and the bracket was rusted. I could replace the fork myself with a Dorman fork that looks OEM (and I actually believe Dorman was OEM), but I couldn't find a new shackle anywhere. It appears that the bracket was originally welded to the rebar in the rear bumper, so maybe no one is selling it as a separate piece. Anyway, I found this Hopkins and decided to get it working. I'm happy to report that I've been able to and it's looking goodโ€ฆ
