Best price and works great!

Installed these behind my truck's taillights to isolate its electronics while towing from the RV, works great and makes the headlights look OEM with no issues.

Defective Item - Wiring

Tried three of the four. They didn't work. Yes, they were installed according to the instructions. The seller has authorized a return to a UPC, the nearest is far away and costs more fuel than cost. Luckily I also bought separate diodes and made my own setup which works great.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

Why aren't they working?

Not sure yet if I can blame the diodes or the car's wiring harness. I'm starting to blame the diodes because if they are removed from the circuit, the taillights will work. But I know that allowing reverse power is bad. I'll end up bringing it to the store because I have to work on that point.

Works Great!: Tow and Winch Attachments

I installed these on my vintage Land Rover Discovery I. There are no pre-wired harnesses for this truck. Reaching for the wire harness and figuring out which wire you are about to cut is a real nuisance. However, adding diodes turned out to be so easy! Now my truck uses its own headlights when I tow it.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Volume

I'm towing my Honda Civic on the back of a trailer hitch.

I'm towing my Honda Civic on a tow truck behind our RV. With those diodes and the wiring harness I was able to wire the Civic so that the factory headlights work when I use the turn signals, brakes or running lights while towing. Now I don't have to use magnetic headlights that scratch my car's paintwork.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Easy Lights for Hitch Accessory

My car has separate brake and turn signals. So I connected the diode assembly to the car's brake light. When towing, the brake light now functions as both a brake light and a turn signal. If the car is driven separately from the camper, it works well with a red brake light and an amber turn signal. Taillights work the same whether you're driving or towing.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Suitable for

This really solved my wiring issues on my dedicated tablet.

This really solved my wiring issues with my custom '07 Tacoma taillight setup. Since my truck used the same turn signal and brake light bulbs, I had to buy these diode blocks to avoid the brake switch backing up and both lights flashing at the same time. I installed them outdoors and survived some weather conditions with no problems.

Pros
  • Still happy so far
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Good product at a good price. Fast delivery.

Installed in my TOAD car a few weeks ago. Chevrolet Metro 1999. Towed twice, works perfectly. My toad has separate blinkers. So I used them to connect the Toad's turn signals, which were also intended to be used as brake lights to avoid using the Toad's orange turn signals when towing. It worked great. There is no reverse power supply to the Toad's electrical system. To verify that the installation is correct I did a quick google search.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to say
