Light bedspreads and pillowcases are perfect for hot summer nights. The blue is quite light blue as shown in the picture. Disadvantage: The bluing is erased like indigo color. You should wash them in cold water with vinegar so they will stain quickly. My hands were blue just from holding them. I haven't seen any blue marks on my hands after washing and rinsing with vinegar.

I love the comforter. This is the perfect weight for Florida, the price is amazing and the color is beautiful. The only problem is that even after 4 washes the blue color is coming off. My little white dog who sleeps in my bed has turned blue! My sheets are blue, my skin is blue, my pajamas are blue. I ended up having to throw it away. I think you get what you pay for :(

The quilt set is beautiful and very soft. but the colorway (at least for the yellow and gold set) suits ALL. The inside of my washer and dryer were stained from the original wash. It came out of the washer easily, but the dryer still made a significant mess. And it's already clearly disappearing with use alone. I bought a very light blanket (nothing special) because our region has a warm climate and it's perfect. The color is a little lighter than shown in the purchase preview but we ended up liking it.
