simple, no frills and works

broke a bit while this valve was doing its job. It's easy and not difficult. However, clamps are too cheap. looks like chrome steel instead of ss? the time will show. Generally it does what it was designed for, which is light work. I'm happy with it so far.

Pros
  • ➤ Operating Temperature: -39℉ to 380℉.

clamps are very cheap. No suitable driver could be found. 1/4 inch too big. The clamping heads are ground by hand. The 5/16" valve was changed to 3/8" because the 5/16" was too small for the 5/16" line. Fits 3/8 inch. The valve is fine, the tightness is good, it seems fine. I think it's ok for the price, just be careful with the clips.

Pros
  • ➤ Versatile Design: Widely used in irrigation system, piping system, oil and gas supply system, other commercial and domestic applications
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Worked well for my 3 propane conversions

I converted my generator to 20lb propane. Requires 1 bypass valve for starting and 1 main supply valve for speed control. I added an electronic fuel control switch that opens when the generator is running and shuts off the flow when the engine stops. The other valve bypasses it so I can start it. Used the same setup to convert my brother's oscillator. I used 1 valve when I rebuilt my mower with a 1lb tank.

Pros
  • ➤ Material: Heavy Duty Brass. Connections: 3/8" hose ID x 3/8" hose ID.
Cons
  • So far so good
