*UPDATE* Do not order this

Great value. I had these old fashioned metal socket holders that I just lost my sockets from. PROBLEM SOLVED. look and work fantastic *UPDATE* Don't order them. Plastic clips began to break and fell off within a month. The photo shows the set of 3/8 sockets that I use the most. A break from just being in my tool bag.

Design edition suitable for tools and gadgets

At first glance these outlet organizers seem like a really good idea, and they are. However, I wrote down several reasons why I didn't like them. First, the top and bottom of the rail are used to reduce costs. However, if you need to hang them, they'll need wire or something to hang them up, and they can't stand upright in a tool box. Second, I have a 3/8" socket that required a hammer and screwdriver to get it out of the socket. That's a really good idea, and if you can live with the two…

Get what you pay for

Fast shipping but things got a little worse after that. If you can open it up and find it's back, it's a little disappointing. The lid of the box was torn off and one of the pens was placed on top and broken (the other part of the broken pen was not in the package). From there it seems to hold the sockets in place, but I have a feeling they'll be replaced in about a year depending on usage. I would advise you to pay a bit more and get some metal organizers. The only reason I took them was…

Broken clips, no support

I bought these to house my truck socket kit. I really like the double sided rail to save space, but I immediately started having problems with the 1/4" clamps. Since they are so small, I expected them to break over time. I didn't expect to break them but put in short 6 point sockets I contacted the seller over a week ago with no reply as I like splints I'll keep this but clips from a different manufacturer /seller buying My old artisan spring clips are not broken and are holding the bushings…

After a few uses they work as expected. They keep breaking off. I'm not picky about my tools and I don't use them very often. But with just a little use, the clips holding the sockets break and my sockets are free to move again. Even at a very low price I should have just bought regular metal. I've never had any problems with them. The clips held the socket well and were easy to remove, but the clips break off the organizer which defeats the whole reason for the purchase.

Attention buyers: Formerly a 5-star rating – now a year later!

I bought it a year ago in March 2018 (now February 2019). I used them from time to time and kept them in a special tool box in my truck. Over time, about 1/3 of the smaller 1/4" holders and some of the larger 3/8" holders broke. Not a big deal since I bought extra ones. But I have been using them today (since October 2018). I found that almost all of the 1/4 holders were already broken or falling apart when I tried to remove the bushing. About a third of the larger 3/8 and 1/2 holders were also

Handy size with patented rail and holder sizes.

As such they work well. The socket holders have the necessary support, as do other non-metallic extruded guide systems. Or, if you've already invested in this brand, then you already know that their shorter overall length can be comfortable. The trick with large or growing socket collections is to fold half of your socket holders onto the other side of the rail. This effectively doubles the usable space in the short rail and is an integral part of these extruded rail systems. There is no need…

They're excellent for what they are

So I have a pretty complete tool kit with hex and 12 point heads in most sizes. I ordered these to fit all of my outlets in a smaller footprint than the organizer I got from Sears a few years ago (metric takes up a whole box, SAE is bigger than a box). I like these sets very much. , but it would be really nice if they made the 1/2" drive organizers a bit longer as the slots are quite large (all 3 drives are the same carrier bar length). I need another set to hold ALL my 1/2 -Drive heads to…

Just What I Needed

I wanted to organize outlets in my tool box. I was looking for strips that would hold sockets securely but wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I've had sockets of all sizes, 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" so this set was perfect. Tools...and they're still on the strip. When you take the tabs off the holder break it off it's your fault - you're doing it wrong pull the bushing straight out or at a slight perpendicular angle to the strip I've never broken one so if you have, say, a set of spark plug tips and the
