Something about Horze products works so well with my Friesian gelding who is usually hard to find. This blanket is no exception. It is very durable and survives the winter very well. My only complaint is that the material is a little bland and unattractive. But it's still way better than most comforters out there - at a lower price point.

I thought this would be a really great blanket for the price. I bought 2 patterned ones and 2 plain ones for my four horses. The straps on BOTH patterned comforters broke on the second use. Very disappointed. The solid color duvets are holding up great and I would have bought four of them but they were out of stock. now i know why The difference in quality is obvious and now I have to buy cheap rugs for my two horses because I can't afford to replace them.

I used this blanket in the White Mountains of Arizona in October and it was perfect. It was very cold and one day it rained (not heavy rain, but continuous rain) and that kept my horse dry and warm. The high neck also kept his shoulders dry. I have also seen my horse rub the aspen several times and the blanket has not torn or even left any traces of rubbing. The only thing I noticed was that it shifted sideways slightly at night, friction, and it wasn't to the point that it was a safety issue…
