The locking ring on the front end of the clamp broke after the first use. Because of this, the rod now unscrews from the clamp when I go to unscrew it. Although it also relieves the tree, it makes handling more difficult. Good idea, but this product doesn't stand up to any use.

The product is very solid but without instructions. Pretty intuitive anyway. I recommend buying at least two of these. When your boards are seated on the device, they will be about a quarter of an inch above the surface. So I had to use multiple boards to make the board even. With two blocks, you don't have to worry about that.

I thought these corner brackets would come in handy when assembling bookcases. I was wrong, very wrong. They are very unstable and do not jam directly. You look really skinny to me. I bought four of these and each one is slightly different so they don't hold all four corners square. Very disappointed with this product.

The yoke looks strong but is actually made of light-weight material. makes it thin and fragile. When tightening the corners it tends to actually push the boards out of square. Counterintuitive for what you're using it for. Can be made square but will require some work. Decent for the price paid but if I had the opportunity to go back in time I would buy a well known brand for more accuracy.

I have just completed 4 16" x 16" cabinets with four of them. All angles are measured square, of course using additional rod clamps to ensure a good connection. I'm in the process of making 2 14" x 16" cabinets and the inside corners were 13" apart causing these inside clamp handles to clash. I deal with this by gluing one side at a time .(see photos) These are quality clips and I will use them often.

I ordered two of these clamps and received them today. They are heavy and look like a steal. I took a clamp and hand tightened a piece of wood just to try it out. Result: The thread is stripped off and does not pull. Needless to say I am returning them immediately! This seems to be an issue with some items I've ordered through Revain. I was building a set of drawers and wanted the drawers to be perfectly straight. When I received my order (8 of them) I checked them with a square ruler and one or two might just be a little off. I couldn't tell exactly because it was such a small difference, but I decided to keep them anyway. I'm glad I did because they are great.
