🪨 Howard Butcher Block Conditioner, BBC0, 12 Fl Oz Review

Well you can trust all the 5 star reviews. I bought a bottle and used it on a candy bar I bought at one of the thrift stores. The bar is well made and attractive, but it's clearly from far abroad and has probably spent its life in a hot shipping container where the wood is almost dry. So I applied Howard's conditioner all over my face and voila! It looks like a new great looking accent piece to be proud of. All wood textures have been highlighted and the richness of wood colors brought to life!

I just bought bottles of Howard's conditioner and mineral oil to compare on the new Beech cutting table tops. I heated the conditioner with hot water as it was very sticky and then applied both products to a small area on the back of the counter and let dry. The conditioner became shinier and looked better. Several negative posters have complained that it doesn't absorb well or that it's waxy. It is very clear on the product that it is best to heat it before application and that it contains wax. Wax is a sealant so of course it doesn't absorb as easily as a straight oil product. I recommend the following.
