Bought this dress in a small size as an option for family photos. I'm beyond impressed with how awesome it is! The lining is soft and reaches about mid-thigh. The outer material is a little transparent and so beautiful. With a drawstring waist, it flatters many body types and also fits a wide range of sizes. At 5'0 I ignored other reviews that the lining was too short because I'm actually "small" :-). Guess what! The lining was too short for me.
