I have two of these on my desk. I connected them to an HP I5 desktop on Win 7 Pro using original HP cables and they are used in an office automation environment with many hours of screen display. At a resolution of 1650 x 1080 they are fine. Running it at the promised 1920x1080 resolution gives me a massive headache after four hours like clockwork. At 1650x1080 I get six or seven hours. Great product for a $100 price level monitor. It has 72% RGB color gamut, which is enough for everyday use. The advantage of this monitor for coding is that it can set the portrait mode 90 degrees, so you can see the coding tree of the program.

I work in the IT department of a fairly large hospital. Good unit. Lifts, rotates, tilts and has USB ports. The USB ports may seem trivial, but as it turns out, my MOTO G (3rd Gen) Android phone doesn't connect to the ports on my Dell XP15 laptop, but it works fine with the ports on the display. What a revelation after spending many hours trying to get the laptop's ports working.

It's a great monitor and definitely a step up for reading text. You can get cheaper $100 monitors, but you'll definitely find that text isn't as sharp. Keep an eye on their price: although it is quite stable, it sometimes spikes up for no apparent reason.
