False advertising. - Office Electronics

The ad clearly has a picture of 3 packs of ink with each color. The details of the description also go into all three ink cartridges. If I wanted to pay the regular price I could go to the local hardware store or office supply store. I believe that the details of the picture and the description should be respected.

Glad I bought a genuine HP product.

Purchased December 2017 and May 2018, five months later and approximately 500 copies in this cartridge, two rows of 12 blue marks down the long side of the sheet. Glad I bought a genuine HP product. Now let's see how HP handles the return process as Revain's return window was a month long.

Product Description

The printer description differs from the product image. The product image indicates that you will receive 3 cartridges in a package of cyan, magenta and yellow. The written description said you would only receive the blue color which I discovered after purchasing and receiving the product. This is very misleading and confusing for the buyer.

Linear blue dots on copies.

After a very short time, the printer started making blue dots on every copy I made. As time went by, the line points kept increasing and I had to go to the copy shop if something was really important. Eventually the person at HP said I should check the cartridge. Bought a new pad from a local store, so far so good. If he does the same after a short time, I will be very, very unhappy.

These are often hidden costs. Unfortunately I use HP branded toner as I cannot be sure of the quality of third party products. I don't want to get the drum or other components dirty and so far my M477fdw has been bulletproof for the last 3 years.

I'm really not happy about giving this product 5 stars. It's damn expensive. You know it and I do as well. But I've tried 3 other premium replacement cartridges at Revain and they all get 2-3 stars at best. Faded colors, streaks, leaks, inaccurate reports, etc. This HP cartridge does its job well. It makes me bitter. Blue is back! The cheap substitute we always made was the turquoise, which we couldn't get rid of. Made everything hyper blue.
