It's not a bad product, but I expect more.

Once a day, from Word or Excel, it can print "hieroglyphs", while immediately printing the same document again and it's fine. I assume that the drivers and / or firmware are raw. Let's hope this situation gets fixed.

Setting up a wireless connection is a huge waste of time

This device's predecessor, the Model 402, was almost impossible to set up wirelessly if you actually followed the inadequate instructions provided. I decided never to buy HP again and bought it because another reviewer claimed it was easy to set up. The setup is the same as it used to be, with bad software and guides that basically don't work. Great printer I wish I needed

I didn't want to buy a new printer. My 20 year old Laserjet 4000 worked perfectly, thank you. Until this suddenly happened when some of the internal parts of the frame burst, and now it is considered irreparable. So. Now I have this new printer. The footprint is slightly smaller than the 4000 and the print speed is MUCH faster. On the recommendation of our IT support I ordered this printer for my boss. This is the boss' review: I bought this printer because I print a lot of documents every day. Too bad it doesn't print properly via AirPrint

I first bought this printer to be able to print shipping labels via AirPrint from an iOS device and also occasionally to print large batches from a PC. Unfortunately, there is a bug in the AirPrint firmware or driver that prevents images and barcodes from PDF from being printed.
