I spent a lot of time reading reviews before purchasing. I was pretty sure this laptop would be too slow for gaming but fast enough for streaming movies or watching DVDs or YouTube videos. I was wrong. It's slow autofocus. If it slows down I'll use my warranty to test it. How slowly this sometimes happens is distressing. I needed a new laptop for 'distance learning' during the pandemic after my last one had a broken screen. Got the update and was a bit hesitant, but so far so good! It has imperfections that I can see from over 12 inches away and gets greasy VERY easily. (from my hair products) so I have to wipe it off after use, but so far I haven't had any issues like those I've had with Dell in the past. Startup is fast and the webcam works great!

It's a good laptop for the price, no touch screen, it's too slow for playing, if you need it for playing, don't buy it, it might be good for collage , if you're patient, because it's still too slow

This machine is forfeit. Needs many updates. There should be some software included for the price. Some software that would be useful, no trial versions. You have to buy "everything". It must be at least $100 less. I only gave it 3 stars because it's HP. HP and AMAZON REFURBISED are the best match, I'm losing faith in them. Can't return as it's for a homeschooler. You're not making me do it again.

The laptop was supposed to be a refurbished unit and was used. It still had the previous owner's name and photo on the login screen, and a few other issues were problematic when my tech set it up for me.

Need a replacement for a dying desktop. That works great. Good audio and video for the media. I don't play much so no comment. Great for what I use it for.

Delivered quickly, looks like a new, easiest laptop I've ever installed (I'm 82) and works perfectly. I'm glad I paid more attention to the good reviews than the bad. I understand it's sometimes possible to get a lemon, but with Revain's easy return policy you're well protected. In short, delighted with his "updated" laptop.

It doesn't have a touchscreen and I don't use it to play games. It probably wouldn't be fast enough for that. I was looking for storage and enough speed and reliability. I use it for DJing, it does everything I was looking for. This model works around my old HP. I'm just not spending 5, I haven't got 4 months yet. NO COMPLAINTS YET

I bought this laptop for occasional web browsing and primarily as a Spotify station. The problem with this computer is that it only works sometimes. It's too slow, too slow even for casual web browsing. Sometimes it's so slow that instead of going back to see if the page came up or what you clicked, you click on the page and do something else.
