The Ultimate Printing Solution: HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-in-One Printer Review

This printer is a piece of junk. All functions on it never worked properly. I've never been able to copy any of it. It was printing documents from my laptop (which is mostly what I needed it for) with a bunch of issues, and now it won't even do that and won't turn off. This is a very bad printer. Not worthy of the HP name. I had an HP printer that worked fine for a couple of years, but this one didn't even last three months.

Sorvi! It was well packaged but looked like it was broken or defective. Would only print part of it and when it was done it took a lot of fiddling with. The WiFi didn't work either. We've had the 5510 for years and it worked great, thought we'd upgrade when we bought the 5520. But no way. It's in a box in our garage and we bought a Canon from Walmart because returning large items is a hassle and in those cases they cost more than a new item. Terrible printer! Shame on me I bought a second HP Photosmart! The first was the 5510 and we liked it, it was easy to use but only lasted 2 years. Replaced this piece of junk with the next model and lasted 8 months. They no longer print a single packet of ink and black. Two calls to HP service, useless! Arrived quickly, well packaged. No problem. The problem was with the printer. And when I complained, Dave referred me to HP. They could have sold it but I had no responsibility, guidance or support from Dave other than that. The black ink is no longer printed. I spent almost a month trying to fix the problem myself.
