Stronger than I thought they will be

Very strong and sharp. I had doubts about their use in milling when there was a lot of vibration. I was sure the racket would break. That didn't happen and I was also surprised to see how sharp the drill stays given the amount of material I had to remove. Nice addition to my collection of Dremel bits.

  • Power Tool Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Drill Pack

Very good bit at a great price

I used these to cut and mill some purple hearts for a new knife block I was making and needed at least a 3/4 inch height of cut. Most of the work involved cutting out shapes, but there were also 4 slots and 9 knife slots that needed to be milled out. One part was cut very early in the process, but the second part completed the rest of the project with no problems. (and no change to the CNC settings) so I'm guessing the first one had some kind of material shortage. I've bought other HQMaster…

Pros
  • Milling bits
Cons
  • No productivity

Very very good tailors.

These are the only bits I use. They serve very well out of all the bits I've bought. I only broke one. I mainly use them on soft pine but have used them on oak. and other hardwoods, but I ride them very hard at 100 ipm, 30 ipm and .0032 per pass. They hold their edge very well and I will be getting a production run of around 30 units per cutter. If I notice that the cutting edge is becoming a little fuzzy, I replace it. As for the person who complained that it wasn't down to 1/8th, you should…

Pros
  • Straight
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Good tailor! suitable for straight, spiral and cut nozzles

This is a good nozzle with some specializations. Run this on a Shapeoko with a Bosch 1617. Perform at 100 ipm with a 3/8” DOC at full speed. Works very well with thin plywood (1/4 inch) as you don't need tape to hold the board in place as the cutter doesn't pull up like with spiral grooving. On thicker materials like 3/4 inch barrier ply you get a layer of pressed sawdust holding the piece in place which makes cleaning a bit tricky as in some cases a screwdriver is required to get the dust off…

Pros
  • straight, spiral and cut nozzles
Cons
  • crumpled packaging
