I bought this item because of the good reviews. I am very happy with its performance. Life in Washington state without much sun is very good. I use it as a backup battery for my hams. Of course, the panel works best when the sun is shining brightly and directly on the panel. It is well made and easy to install or assemble. I plan to buy a bigger pad so I can charge faster on cloudy days. If you want the panel to support a battery or two, this works great.

I am very pleased with the performance of this small panel. I connected it to a Brunton solar charger to power two 60Ah 12v batteries and keep them charged. I have a 600w inverter that I use to power lights, a small pump and other equipment at our remote location. This panel keeps the batteries at a charged level. With this panel, HQRP controller and UB12180 12V 18Ah battery I can light up my garden barn. It generates voltage even on a cloudy day and even from a room lamp.
