Just what I needed to install a GFCI socket in a weatherproof bell jar. The box lacks depth so I used an extension. Worked great

Using the box to install a lockable socket outside the motorhome. The cord is routed through the wall to an interior outlet to provide power without connecting the RV's power supply (for the fans/dryers when the RV is not in use). Worked perfectly.

This worked great with my 30 amp outlet that I installed flush against an outside wall. I wanted some extra space between the back of the outlet and the back of the single weatherproof box.

I needed extra space in an external electrical box and couldn't find these waterproof extension cords at any of the major packaging stores or our local hardware. We ordered them and in a few days we were able to assemble our system and we have been working with it for almost a year.

It worked for me but the gasket that came with the extension didn't help. It was designed for flat surfaces. My application relates to a stone wall. usually rough, uneven surface. However, it's okay. I threw away the gasket and used silicone sealant. Looks good.
