I liked everything. . . Sleek, modern design, looks easier to keep clean than traditional fans, perfect airflow (used in bathroom), balanced fan blades, intuitive remote control.

The electrician said the remote wasn't programmed to pair with the receiver. I had to throw it away. Unfortunately I had high hopes for this due to the good brand name but the product may have been defective.

This remote control is very useful. I used it every day. Small in size to fit perfectly in a drawer or stored outside, makes your life a lot easier so you don't have to get out of bed when you forget the light is still on.

Installing it in my Hunter Amberlin fan was a hassle because it's so tight against the case. Because of this, it also gets very hot and shorts out after less than a year of use, rendering the flashlight unusable until removed. I do not recommend this product

We bought one of these from the store and now I'm looking to Revain to find an older version to replace it. Pros: If you lose power and dim it, it returns to the same lighting level. Cons: It doesn't fully dim like the older versions. It is very difficult if not impossible to get full brightness. There is no indication of what level the fan speed is set to. I've been trying to live with this for months hoping it was just an adjustment issue on my part, but no, it has to go!

This unit works great. after all! I'm renovating some 25 year old porch chasers (no lights) and the remote control is a better option than the original "chain" controllers. Fortunately, the original wiring is fully consistent with the device diagrams. For unknown reasons, the controller did not work even after performing the correct reset process several times.
