Opaque. Not even transparent. This is a white protective layer. I'm using it on a project where transparent or translucent rolls would look much better, but couldn't resist the price of all the rolls returned. Unless you're looking for opaque white film, don't buy new full price.

With this we slid and slid down the slope! It helps quite a bit. As one of the adults came down the hill with his hands down, a hole formed in him. However, we were still able to use it for hours! After we used it that day, my mom put it in her strawberry patch for weed control. It worked very well for that!

Ideal for weed control and pumpkin growing. I have a happy field with vines and little gourds and no weeds. I followed someone's suggestion and drilled holes on another pulley for drainage. I couldn't be happier with the longevity. I will only use one season but looks like it will last at least a couple of years outdoors.

This is my second review in my life. I have bought this product several times. I had a laser hole twice. I tried going back and would have, but that would have required me to pull out all the staples and try to get the 100 feet back into a very small box. It's not worth it! The last batch I received has about fifteen holes. Absolutely funny! Don't pull up here either. I just add herbicide. It's a shame that you can't wait any longer for a quality product.

The description says it is a CLEAR plastic sheet. That's why we bought it. Cover the plants to protect them from wind and cold in winter. Not clear! It is gray and almost opaque. There is no way for plants to get enough sunlight when they are overcast. If you buy it for other purposes, e.g. a rag, it might be fine, so I don't know about durability. Thickness seemed good but why is it listed as NET when it is NOT? I had to go back.

I ordered 2 packs of this coating for my living room. My daughter wanted a pool full of "water balloons" in the house for her birthday. Works great! I use it to protect the carpet in my high rise dining room where the dog's previous tenant got dirty. I tried an organic enzyme carpet cleaner, but my dog kept sniffing the spot and refusing the tile pot that I prefer. Very easy to work with. We covered our entire yard with it and it did a wonderful job of keeping the weeds out. The holes in it are just from an accidental hit with a shovel and a few too-persistent aspen shoots. (Don't plant aspen in your yard. Just don't do it.)
