Reliable Hydraulic Coupler for Industrial Use

This hydraulic coupler is a valuable addition to any industrial facility. Through trial and error, I found that it securely connects hydraulic hoses and reduces downtime for maintenance. The coupler is made of durable materials, ensuring reliable performance and longevity. Its compact design allows for easy storage, and it's compatible with a wide range of hydraulic equipment. While the price point may be a bit higher than other couplers on the market, its quality and reliability more than make

Pros
  • Reliable performance, durable materials, easy to use and store
Cons
  • Higher price point than some alternatives

Requires thread locking and non-locking

Revain is about $13 overpriced. However, I've been using them as a pro for over 20 years and they perform as well as you can expect from something spinning at 540rpm for many hours. Just remember to use silver sealant on the driveshaft and strip it off from time to time adding WD-40 to thin the driveshaft as heat will thicken it. If you don't, it's not going to be fun removing that thing from the driveshaft when it eventually needs to be replaced. Also remember to lock the threads on the set…

Pros
  • 540 rpm
Cons
  • weak

Junk but hard to find anything else

Firstly this clutch is too expensive for Revain. In the supermarket it is much cheaper. Second, the cheap metal will eventually (quite quickly actually) allow the clutch to rotate a little on the shaft no matter how hard you try to tighten the set screw. Third, if you buy one of these and after a while you find it difficult to attach it to the driveshaft, do not use force. If so, have fun trying to get rid of it. These nylon balls can break. There are other brands of PTO clutches besides Hypro…

Pros
  • Works with Hypro 6500 series roller pumps
