Hygger Filter Cartridge HG 985 Review

When I tried this product I was very disappointed with its performance. The filter cartridge did not effectively clean the water in my aquarium, leaving it murky and with a strong odor. I ended up having to purchase a different filter from Pet Supplies to rectify the situation .The only positive aspect was that it was easy to install. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros in this case, and I cannot recommend this product to other fish and aquatic pet owners..

Both the sponge filter and the cartridge filter are lightweight, and the sponge filter is easy to clean. The cartridge filter has some small built in charcoal pellets if you prefer to use charcoal with your aquarium setup. The thin sponge built into the cartridge can be removed when you want to take it out.
