I finally had time to install these, in one of our buildings, and the light didn't work. I verified voltage at the wires, and double checked that I was terminating on the correct terminals. But the light never would illuminate.Edit 4-5-19The company was not able to replace the light fixture for me, but they did send me a refund so I have updated to 5 stars for EXCELLENT customer service.

We bought two of these to replace two older fluorescent light fixtures that had gotten dim over the years. The LED panels put off a much nicer shade of light and distribute it very evenly. I thought edge-lit would mean that the lights would be brighter on the edges, but these are uniform across the entire lens. I wish they were a little brighter but I think for most offices the light output is perfect. We have dark floors so the extra light would have helped. We'll be buying more to replace…

These lights are great! I am refurbishing a ground floor apartment which had not been used in a number of years. The original 4’x2’ fluorescents were not starting reliably, even with new tubes. Looking at the cost of replacing these, I ran across these LED panels. Packed two to a box, the price is somewhat comparable, especially after you factor in the longevity of LEDs.Downside is that the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Bought 6 lights, they came as a 4 pack & 2 pack at different times, and the 4 pack had one damaged light on the back & one corner on front. We tried to contact Hykolity by phone, but no answer. Looks great, very bright. They say you need to connect a variable DC power supply to operate the dimmer, however I have found out you do not need a power supply. All you need to do is connect a potentiometer, or variable resistor to the positive and negative leads that say DIM. I've have found that a 20k ohm potentiometer is very smooth.

I selected the light as a garage light, since it was the only utility LED fixture listed. It is described as being for both suspended ceilings and for direct installation on a regular ceiling. The fixture cannot be used on a regular ceiling. It's for suspended ceilings only, according to our electrician. I returned it, feeling annoyed at the inconvenience and delay.

Product really lit up finished basement . Thought I would need more than two for 12x 12 basement .but were perfect Not compatible with all dimmer switches.

Sometimes you get what you pay for, sometimes you get more. I wanted a cheap LED panel, and was expecting a Made in China piece of garbage. Instead, it was a Made in China piece of. very decent equipment. The instructions are clearly written and the product has a high quality appearance. Each panel is a little brighter than the 4 bulb troffer it replaced. These lights are just what I had been looking for to replace old florescent lights in my basement. My old florescent lights were buzzing and uneven, but these lights are bright, turn on instantly and the light is even. And best of all, no noise. I have ordered and installed two sets of these lights. They came when promised, well packaged and undamaged. I found them very easy to connect and install. One set went in an existing drop ceiling frame. The other in a sheet rock ceiling with a 4 x 4 section damaged by a leaking roof over the existing light fixture, which had been a ceiling fan. these units, suck, do not buy. they arrived damaged (corners bent) no box damage, they must have been packed and shipped this way. They are edge lights and they run so hot that touching the led end of the frame will burn your hand! one fixture heated my office up 15 degrees over the course of the day ugh. Also, the lighing is uneven.they are brighter on one side and get dimmer towards the opposite side. I will be returning these asap. Also, one of the lights stopped working within 4 days! Scott

used this light in a kitchen and it does a great job of lighting up the room. looks pretty modern too, be sure to use the trim kit.

We installed these for a client of ours. They had had trouble for years with old fluorescent fixtures - bulbs, ballasts and wiring issues. The day we installed these panels.it was a huge difference where their offices lit up for the first time in beautiful light. WOW! They spent the morning telling me they can't stop looking at it and just WOW!

We bought these to replace some standard fluorescent fixtures in an exam room. I've wired lights before and I was able to wire these, but the dimmer switch is the problem. The lights did not come with any instructions or documentation. If you're a professional, maybe this isn't an issue. I'm not. The lights installed in a couple of hours. I would not recommend this installation for someone who does not have some electrical experience. I wish I had paid for revain to install them.The lights work

These LED lights were extremely easy to install and were a perfect replacement for my old fluorescent 2x4 fixture. The only complaint I have is that one of the panels was damaged in shipping but fortunately the two dents are covered up by the drop ceiling rails.

I must say that I am very impressed with these lights. I used the surface mount and covered up a couple of what used to be skylights that went bad.They put out so much light in the kitchen and dining area that my wife asked me to rewire the two on separate switches. But instead I am looking for a way to use a dimmer. Yes I would recommend these lights. Very versatile and very bright.
