Hypertech 3000 Energy Spectrum Programmer Review

The item does not work even after the update. Just doesn't work with my 2017 Chevy Silverado. Not a happy person! Had contacted Hypertech directly but received no response to question. Finally I spoke to Hypertech and they reflashed the tuner and it works great now I love the extra power it gives.

Chevy and Aamco dealers said my transmission problem couldn't be fixed - Chevy said to fix it with a 4950 rebuild replace $. The problem was that when downshifting 2 gears for quick acceleration, the truck hit the lowest target gear, made a noticeable bang and the whole car jerked. I used this programmer to tweak the reg throttle and then increased the shift point by 25% for all gears - and the problem was gone!

Bought this for an aftermarket cold air intake setup advertised by the tuner. After installing Energy Spectrum 3000 programming on a GMC 2017 Sierra 2500 HD 4wd there is limited ability to change shift points, speed limiter and TPMS making it effectively only marginally better than the less expensive TPMS tuner. . Technical support did not reconfigure the email or call message.

Before you can do anything, you must connect it to your computer and update all files on the device, which takes about 20 minutes. To download the software, install and update your device. After that you can use the factory settings on your car. This device just freed my American horses on my Chevy truck. Got it on sale and it was definitely worth the price, has a few settings you can customize or preinstall. Will update my review if there are any changes.
