It works as advertised

After a few technical issues on my end, I was able to program and install without any problems. I adjusted my speedo after changing from 32 to 37 and the speedo is spot on! good product!

Pros
  • Devices
Cons
  • Out of fashion

This is necessary if you want your bus system to work properly.

Installing information into the unit was easy using a desktop or laptop computer, downloading the program file from the Hypertech website and entering the correct tire size and/or reverse gear if required . Then connect it to the BCG which is located behind the dash where the headlight switch is located. You will find a white plug on the BCM.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Good but not great

Cruise Control: Lighting and Electrical

I have a 2020 GMC Canyon. I thought it would be easy but the only easy part was the download. I had to remove the lower part of the dashboard, which also affected the cruise control. So if the speedometer says I'm driving at 63 mph and I set the cruise control it will be several miles per hour lower (60 mph) even if I'm driving at 63 mph.

Pros
  • Easy to install on factory wiring harness - no connector required
Cons
  • Frequency
