Ideal. Easy to use.

This thing worked great. I had to try to get to work a couple of times. According to the manual you should start the car, but not start it. Mine was stuck in the menu the whole time. I watched a youtube video and the mechanic told me to start the car and then plug in the calibrator. I did that and everything worked great. Not so long. The speed is ok.

  • Easy install

  • Hard to say

Worked exactly as advertised

I used this to recalibrate my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK) after a 2" lift and 32" tires. Be sure to follow the instructions to turn off all accessories (fans, lights) and then pull out the stereo fuse. Worked like a charm and I had a perfectly calibrated speedometer in about 5 minutes. My only complaint is that it can only be used on one vehicle at a time.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Works very well. Set my speedometer with no problem. It takes the expected time to restore factory settings and install an updated shift schedule. I put a lot of pressure in the transmission and he did it on the first try. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it came with a defective chip and had to be sent back to HYPERTECH. Support and turnaround times were top notch. Came back programmed for my application.

Follow the instructions on T

The product was easy to install and use, just follow T's instructions. Make sure all accessories are unplugged, doors closed, radio off etc. as instructed. I had to disconnect my winch from the battery and unhook my aftermarket bumper lights, pull out the fuse for the trailer lights, I had to turn off my aftermarket horn. I also had to remove the aftermarket LED headlights for the product to work properly, but other than that it worked great. Once everything is off, follow the on-screenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Worked great on our 2008 3.0L CRD Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland

. I tried it with good success and no other real options. For some reason Hypertech (like every other manufacturer I could find) listed products to recalibrate speedometers on almost every other jeep model but not the diesel version. I followed the steps outlined and got up to speed on the first try, confirmed by the GPS. *To measure a tire's circumference, I marked the tire with a piece of tape and rotated it a full revolution in the garage, then measured the distance on the floor between theโ€ฆ

pain in the ass. ! on speedometers

At first I used various programmers and diagnostic tools that connect to the OBD port. So it's not the first thing I use. I read some reviews about how easy it is blah blah blah ok so be it. That didn't work for me. I don't remember the screens that kept popping up, but when I was told to plug in the device and turn the key on but not start, it kept repeating as if the device wasn't connected to my truck . I think it was the down arrow, but she never got past that point. My only guess. based on
