Camshaft has not moved. I just wish they were a little cheaper but with the money I saved doing it myself instead of a mechanic I could buy 20 more of these.

It took approx 7mm of spacer between rod and top block to get to the cam on my 04 Town Car. I don't know why, after that it worked.

This camshaft holding tool worked exactly as described. I used them to secure the camshafts in a 2004 Triton 5.4 2 valve engine to replace the timing kit. Definitely worth the money.

Fits 4.6 liter Explorer 3rd generation. I used them on my 2004. I just had to add some washers to the bolts on the driver's side cam bracket as the fit is not exact on that side. About 1/8" washers will do just fine.

Kept the cams on my hard 5.4 while changing the valve timing. Easy to use, looks almost identical to expensive models. A NOTICE. Please make sure which version 4.6/5.4 you have before ordering. This is for the Windsor engines. If you have a Romeo engine you will need other tools (they won't fit because of the cam caps). The easiest way to tell from the outside is to count the bolts holding the camshaft covers to the head. If more than 11, you have Windsor.
