So, first things first. WTF cougar? You used to have great golf shoes, but they don't exist anymore. I have an older non-spiked version of the Puma Ignite golf shoe. It was great. So amazing I actually bought 3 pairs and have worn all but the last pair since. Hence the reason for purchasing a newer version of the shoe. Puma is my favorite golf shoe but the quality of this pair was worse than expected, much worse. I hope these shoes fit. They're stylish, comfortable and the laces look great. However, when I first put them on, the tip went straight through the cheap plastic that didn't have rivets or anything to reinforce the hole. Not happy, Jerry Bezer.

The shoes are comfortable and inexpensive. The problem I had was the tip grabbed through one of the holes and ripped out. I didn't pull too hard on the tip and to be honest I was shocked when it snapped. I bought them less than a year ago and have used them about ten times. The quality of the material where the laces go is terrible. These shoes should have lasted much longer than the couple of times I've used them. Should have gone with Footjoy as I have in the past.

So I bought these in February, I live in Wisconsin, on my first day of golf and noticed my right shoe was damaged. I really like them and wish I'd noticed that on my return, but then again I live in a climate where golf starts in May. While this is a design flaw on Puma's part, as the lace is only held in place by a thin piece of rubber, I also have a feeling the shoe was sent back before and never inspected again prior to delivery. Really frustrating having a $90 purchase that costs nothing…

This shoe is great, but it has one design flaw that shouldn't be a problem if you're planning on using it. You will tear the laces through the lace keeper if you don't tie the laces through the tongue. If you do, these are great shoes and you won't have any problems. I give 5 stars because that's exactly what I did and I'm completely satisfied with the shoes. You'll look great on the course!

I sometimes play golf. Have bought a pair of golf shoes in the last 10 years, took off the last one and bought these. loved these shoes. In addition to comfort, grip and a good fit, they also look great. I've worn them maybe 10 times in the last 6 months (golf twice a month or so). Unfortunately the sole on the right shoe ripped. See image. I can't wear these anymore - soon the sole will fall apart. I would like the seller to replace these with the exact same ones

I bought these based on the looks, hoping the shoes would be more comfortable when playing tennis than the regular hard leather shoes. It's not as soft as I was hoping, but still a lot more comfortable. A word of warning: the laces do not go all the way through the holes on the outside and inside. I pulled too hard on the first attachment and ripped holes in the plastic/leather exterior. I had to punch holes in the inner side panels so I could lace up the shoes.

I bought these shoes for my husband last year and he liked them and has worn them down - the second pair I bought were defective and finished differently. The left shoe rubs the ankle. Very disappointing as you were hoping the same shoe would have the same fit. Unfortunately I can not return because the return period expired 3 days ago. I would like to ask the seller for help, but I don't see where to do that.

I've only worn them 4 times this season and on the 4th time the boot broke while tying. I would like to see if I send them back for a new pair.

First let me say that I love the look and the design. The design isn't as comfortable as some FJs I've had and it took a little getting used to. But after a few walks, the shoes became really comfortable. Your eyes water when you pull the cord. The shoes are comfortable, but the eyelet design makes the shoe unwearable at the first forceful squeeze. Once the eyelet is fully torn, you will not be able to tighten the boot.

I love these shoes. super comfy. I don't wear them when I know the grass will be wet, but I prefer shoes any other time. Good traction. not as good as spikes but enough. I like her and would recommend her.

Waterproof with 2 holes. I've found a water repellent spray that helps, but water still seeps through the top on a dewy morning.

I've been told this is a great product. I want to try this shoe. The item I received was from a different manufacturer and not even the color I ordered. The shoes are back.

Listen to the reviews and don't buy • I bought this for my husband for his birthday and he only wore it 3 times before the lace hole broke. I couldn't even send the shoes back as they were expired. They are practically new but unusable.

I really like the shoes, they have a very stylish and cool design. I played twice on fields that were very wet and muddy, but my feet stayed dry at the end of the rounds. In addition, they are very comfortable.

Fits like a glove. This has been my golf shoe of choice since it came out a few years ago. I do most laps and they have been solid. Very comfortable, great traction. I would recommend going half a size down. For the record, I wear a 9.5 in Adidas and Nike, but I wear a 9 in these.

I'm wearing my third pair in a month and I've FINALLY learned my lesson. Yes, there is a terrible design flaw with shoelace eyelets. The flimsy rubber can't handle tight laces, and many reviews, including this one, point to a fatal flaw. BUT, this can be avoided! I was about to put on my newly purchased Puma shoes and was trying to tighten the laces. Eyelets fell out on both shoes! Big waste of shopping.
