Better to put $80 on OEM.

Has worked for just over 3 weeks, 2 out of 4 have failed. Had to hobble my car to the nearest dealer and buy a new kit anyway. Save $80 and just buy OEM. I've also noticed a slight difference in performance, the OEM coil packs idle smoother and seem to give better throttle response.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Operating Speed

We bought a 2007 VW Pasat and were told so.

We bought a 2007 VW Pasat and they told us the stuttering problem was carbon deposits. After a few months on the road, we found a website that suggested the problem wasn't a buildup, it was a faulty coil. We bought these replacement kits to test the theory. Changed in 5 minutes, since then the car hasn't stopped!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok

Good value great looks great quality

Love the look of the red top and it seems to be of high quality...still runs great and the engine runs smoother with these and the new spark plugs . They slide in easily, but I put a little grease in the rubber bushings to help them slide over the plugs. You have to be very careful not to get deeply caught up in contacts. I have to say that the old OEM coils at 95,000 miles were very difficult to remove. Be sure to change them sooner next time.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Vulgarity

These roles are great!

They do their job exactly as it says on the box. My car has no misfires or idles. I would even say that it works better at idle than with stock coils. With the old coils, the idle was not nearly as smooth as with these coils. Especially with the car in gear while stationary. The car accelerates without the hesitation and judder that I experienced when the old coils started to fail. Highly recommended. Update: 07/30/2018. The coils broke after a year and a half. Replaced them with Bosch blocks.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Empty

Great product and even better customer service.

I've had it since May 2019. I had no problems with it until about 3 weeks ago my car started shaking under hard acceleration. Replaced spark plugs, fuel pump, air filter and more. Any small parts (except the fuel pump) that could be causing the problem. Finally put my old coils back in my car, no idea why I kept them all the time, the doubts are gone. I contacted GWA Auto Parts for warranty support and after asking about the troubleshooting steps I had taken and a few other questions, a new set

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Defective after 8 months!

Well you could say I joined the group when those coils failed. 8 months after purchase and very restless idling with misfiring while driving. I ran a VCDS scan and it showed cylinder 1 misfiring. I swapped and it went on cylinder 2. I also had occasional misfires on cylinders 3 and 4 at slower rpm. I was desperate and reordered a similar product from another seller. Red top and about $70 for 4. I think these are new from the same Asian manufacturer. With a new set the car works fine but I don't

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Nothing here

Vehicle Information - 2011 Audi A5 Quattro, 137,000 miles. Installed these R8 coils with new spark plugs and the car runs great. And now for some history and advice. My coil #3 is about 75,000 miles. Due to a malfunction at the end of the day and during my ride I hobbled to the nearest repair shop where they only replaced coil #3 (they only had 1 in stock). A few weeks later I replaced the other 3 coils. No problems until I have about 110,000 miles. Coil #1 is out of order. At this point I…

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Minor Issues
