The only problem is that the antithesis resistor below does not work, I have to use the old one from the original ignition

Item does not contain a resistor which renders it unusable, cannot return due to 30 day return window. Unfortunately, I was on a military mission.

Didn't work until I threw the guts out of the old one. All you have to do is unscrew the small screws on the bottom of each one and pull out the lower guts containing the diode. Put a new one in and it works.

I gave 3 stars because the ignition has the wrong wiring and the wrong top cap fits and 03 - 04 gsxr1000 but I was still able to get it working with modifications. Also, the resistor is on the wrong wire for 04/03 1000 so it needs to be cut and repositioned. The rest of the parts fit and work perfectly.

The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because these ignition systems don't start these bikes, they don't have a 100 ohm resistor that goes from the 12v auxiliary voltage to the ECM. Signal wire, it sends a signal to the computer to turn on the fuel system, I was able to add my own resistor, except the keys and cylinder work fine, 2008 GSXR 1000

. The problem is the resistors used were wrong or something but put them on the bike via code c42 which is some sort of ignition circuit malfunction. I figured I might have burned something else when the hair straightener messed up. So after a whole day of disassembling my bike, checking everything for ohms and getting nothing, I took apart the original cylinder, I needed a new one because the key in it was broken.
