Great product for the price. I have the screen mesh version as well. I could tell the difference with the temp of my house immediately.There is a major major flaw though. Its magnets are somewhat weak and it's not a weighted bottom. I put more magnets in the bottom and weighted it as much as I could with what i had around the house. I bought this product to keep the heat on the first floor of my three-story townhouse. It is actually keeping the first floor warmer. It was easy to install. The only thing I would complain about is the bottom part doesn't close automatically, you have to manually close it. I guess it doesn't close automatically because I am using it on an opening instead of a door.

Well it seemed. Like a very good idea to get this to try to block out some of the cold air that will come through the cracks in my front door. I was able to install it pretty quickly but once I put it up I realized it does not allow you to open up the door so. Have to leave my back door open so the dog can go in and out when he wants. Bought this for the winter time. It really keeps the draft out, and for whatever reason my heat bill this past month was about half of what it usually is. The only bad thing is I think it needs more magnets on the bottom because sometimes they don't close and I have to go physically close them. Other than that it's a great product

It was easy to install. But, - The adhesion doesn’t take a little wind. 😢 First it was flapping in the wind and then-, The whole thing came down.It is keeping nice in quiet weather and my cats and dogs can go through. Not 100% for the cat/dog flap. A little more plasticy than I expected.

Purchased to seal off the bedroom in my studio apartment so I could use my portable air conditioner. Hung fine, worked until I turned on the ac. The negative pressure created by the ac easily overwhelmed the magnetic closure, pulling the door into the room, leaving it open 2/3 of the way. Really disappointed. May be fine to isolate a room in general, cannot recommend for use with a portable air conditioner.

There is nothing "insulated" about this. It's a plastic sheet with adhesive velcro around the outer edges and magnets along the inner edges. Does it stop cold drafts? Meh. Better than nothing. Does it blow open with a stiff breeze? YES. There are spaces between the magnets in the middle so there will be a few gaps you have to work with and flatten out fold wrinkles from packaging/shipping to get a complete seal. I recently installed ac/heating in my garage which has an open doorway to an unconditioned shed outside. I bought this brown EVA version as a stop-gap measure until I could hang a proper door in the space, and I was really surprised at the temperature difference across both sides.It didn't adhere super well to the raw OSB which I wiped down with a wet rag, but a cheap staple gun took care of that into the backing velcro. Now I can still remove the curtain easily without ripping off any velcro.

We used this as a doggie door from the kitchen to sunroom (that has a doggie flap door). Works great to keep cold air from entering house. The dogs took to it easier than the outdoor flap door. And we attached it on the outside of door frame so we can still close and lock our door as needed.

Bought this product almost 2 years ago and still saving us money. Keeps drafts out. Works just as described. When we need to replace our "door" we would buy from again.

Great at keeping cold air out! I leave back door open so dogs can go in and out. Adhesive was okay but super durable. I replaced it with 3M double-sided tape and works perfectly.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE! This has helped ao much with keeping our ac to not come down the stairs the air upstairs now stays cool. As in most houses our 2nd level is always hotter and I had the ol Blanket in door way trick but wasn't working as well as needed. This did the trick. Measure 2x put up 1x bc the adhesive is strong and if you need ro peel up to correct it takes paint off walls. BUT holds great! Totally recommended!

The 3M velcro tape. didn’t work all that well. since my door was unfinished and this was a temporary fix i was able to use staples. but for keeping heat in the Room it works much better than expected

It's exactly what I hoped for. Easy to install and keeps the outside pollution from entering the area. And the magnetic closures work perfectly.

This magnetic door curtain is very flimsy. It came with a small tear in it. It does not come with any tie backs.The adhesive is very strong and comes with plenty as well as tacks. The tacks are not very durable. Several bent while trying to install.

Keeps the cold air from my ac where I need it and helps to keep the electricity bill down. So far it’s stayed up and is doing the job it was intended to do perfectly.

The install was easy. My dog and I walk through it many times a day with zero problems. It has helped a great deal with blocking the cold air coming from my den, which isn’t heated. So, yay!

I've purchased this product 3 times previously. The ripped because of the dog no big deal. Could fix with tape and they lasted long enough that it was a good value. I just purchased the 4th one and this is not the same product. The magnets have been changed and are totally useless. The door would stay closed and there was barely any wind.
