Great lights in my review

The old Buick Park Avenue has a huge array of rear lights. Four taillight bulbs and two backup light bulbs. This kit let us swap out every one of the old incandescents for LED, and it looks better and brighter than ever! The only down side is that the bulbs used for turn signals do not have the resistors in them, so we have the very fast/hyperflash effect on the turn signals. Not a big deal - lots of resistors available - but for now, the hyper flash is just another neat look for the old Buick.

Pros
  • I’ve been running these for a few months now and no issues!! Great value for the cost
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all vehicles

Need resistor sold separately

Bulbs are great but if you own a vehicle that notifies you to check your brake or blinker when it burnt out accompanied by a fast blinker you need to install a separate resistor per light bulb. The resistors get so hot they melt plastic unless mounted to a metal surface clear of plastic. Not worth the trouble for a brake or blinker bulb to me. If you want to fix your blinker or brake light bulb get a standard filament bulb so the resistance is correct. I installed on a 2010 Camaro rear brake…

Pros
  • Well worth the money. Installs like regular bulbs.
Cons
  • May not be as durable as advertised

Suprising good fit /finish some work bending contacts out

2011 silverado:The quality looks surprisingly nice. but I've seen polished turds before.Installed and 8 of 10 worked well then 6 of ten haha the fronts on 2011 silverado wouldnt seem to contact.I simply bend the wires on the bulbs out just a touch their respective directon and made sure my socket contacts were flared, put em back in and bam.Anyway well see how long they last.Install was harder than shoulda been due to contact issue alone but easy fix.Brightness is goodTHESE WILL HYPERFLASH

Pros
  • Direct replacement easy installation very bright
Cons
  • May not last as long as traditional bulbs

Doesn't directly replace 3157 bulb

I purchaced to replace a 3157 bulb that has 2 filaments. This is for tail light which is dimmer than the 2nd element for brake lights. These appear to have 2 functions but both are the same intensity. That said they won't directly replace a 3157 bulb and work correctly.

Pros
  • They are much brighter than the factory bulbs and I had no issues
Cons
  • Could possibly cause a malfunction in vehicle systems

Didn't work as a 3157

Tested these on both tail lights of my 2019 Ram 1500. All 10 in the box did not light when placed into the 3157 socket. Tested the LED bulb separately by supplying 12V to each tab and the light illuminates brightly on all tabs as opposed to only on corresponding tabs with the incandescent bulb. It's not wired for two filaments, may work as a 3156.

Pros
  • Easy to put in and they are nice and bright.
Cons
  • Might not be legal in certain states or countries

Absolutely Horrible!

These are terrible even for cheap LEDs they are painfully bad, I replaced the drivers side tail lights and wanted to compare the new LED to the stock bulbs in an older car. the stock bulb is easily twice as bright. They says 2200 Lumen, that's per box, and it's a 10 pack, they are dirt cheap so I didn't expect something amazing but I did expect them to be at least as bright as stock, I don't even think they are 220lumen. Just to check I tried switching them out and I didn't get anything…

Pros
  • Prevent accidents on the road with clear and visible brake and reverse lighting
Cons
  • Could potentially be misinterpreted by other drivers

Nice and bright good for me

Nice and bright, some of the bulbs would not fit in the sockets, only have had them for a couple of weeks we'll see how lo g that last, you will need a resistor if installing in an older vehicle

Pros
  • FITMENT
Cons
  • Could potentially overheat and cause a fire hazard

Bright but don't last.

I bought these for my F150. First thing is they are not weatherproof by any means. When exposed to any moisture they flicker and blow out. But in a sealed tail light they've been holding up great and super bright compared to the original bulbs. I would recommend them just got to be in a weatherproof environment.

Pros
  • Lights & Lighting Accessories
Cons
  • Might not be compatible with all types of vehicle wiring

This review is for the WHITE led bulbs. The build quality for these bulbs is excellent - they have a solid, rigid feel, and did not break when i repeatedly inserted/removed from the socket. The light is BRIGHT, which makes it ideal for single purpose usage (i.e., only for turn signal and nothing else)HOWEVER, if using for dual purpose (tail lights AND turn signal/brake lights) there is not much difference in light between a regular driving/night light and the turn signal (or brake light) - I…

Pros
  • Enjoy the benefits of LED technology, including longer lifespan and energy efficiency
Cons
  • Could potentially cause glare for oncoming traffic

A little different but not bad

These are solid little lights and so far see to really last. Just as a note if your using them for running lights they are all white light so your parking lights for instance are not yellow they will be white. Also since installing them in my 2008 ford f l50 the blink 4 to 5 times faster than a normal blinker and this could drive some people nuts, but it doesn't bother me, in fact I had 3 different people comment that they really notice when I'm turning becauae the lights are so bright and the…

Really bright, higher quality than expected

I have to say, I wasn't expecting much at this price point but was super impressed. Lights all work well, really bright and construction quality is above what you would expect. I installed these in my 2006 Tahoe - all 3 rear lights and daytime running lights. Note you will probably get the "hyper flash" letting you know the turn signal is out due to their low draw. I solved my problem my taking apart the relay and sanding down the metal jumper bar that measures resistance.UpdateStill…

Pros
  • Experience greater visibility and enhanced safety with Yorkim's powerful LED bulbs
Cons
  • Might not be as effective in extreme temperatures

Individual lights started burning out

Easy to install and bright to start. After about five hours of use it individual "dots” "chips” started flickering and then soon burn out. Now I have half the bulb lit and the other out. Using it as a daytime running lamp in my 2006 GMC Yukon. I used them also as the brake lights and reverse lights and those have been fine. Don’t use them as daytime running lights. Original 3157 bulbs at least lasted a year

Pros
  • NOTE
Cons
  • May not be as energy-efficient as advertised
