Bi-metal type, M42 grade, 44-7/8" long, 1/2" wide, 0.025" thick, 12/16TPI. Perfect for cutting soft ferrous metal only. 8% cobalt with 2% tungsten content to increase durability abrasive resistance. 12/16TPI is suitable for thin ferrous metal tube pipe profile sheet etc. Suits all bandsaws which use 44-7/8" long, 1/2" wide bandsaw blade

I always make sure the steel is tight to the portable bandsaw stop. If n

I liked the package easy to get at blades sharp edge was protected with a plastic strip that removed easily. I was satisfied with the performance of the blade. I was cutting steel bar stock. The price is right and the 3 pack is handy to have around.

Pros
  • These blades have proven to be durable and affordable. I use these blades strictly for metal
Cons
  • These blades say they are for stainless steel and i dull all 3 and still did not finish my cut.

Works good good for me

These Imachinist Bi-Metal portable bandsaw blades work good.This is the first time trying these blades and I have no complaints.They last just as long as the Milwaukee or Dewalt blades and cuts great.I can't see the price on these right now as it shows unavailable but if these are affordable, I would not hesitate to get these again.

  • They seem like decent blades, have used them once so far.

  • The 12/16TPI rating means that cutting through thicker or denser materials may be slower and more laborious, affecting productivity and efficiency

perfect fit for my opinion

working great so far.have not had a chance to cut product that i bought them for but test cuts have worked out great. The Imachinist S4478121216 blades may not fit all types of bandsaws, limiting its versatility and use.
