We used this to replace a faulty box that came with our Call Pilot 150 voicemail system.It's been a week now and no problems. So far, so good.

I think this is new and improved. But only time will tell if it lasts. What about the block itself? First, it has a SHORT power cord. The old one had 4 feet to the power box, a 4" power box, then 4 feet 8" to the end of the link. That's almost 9 feet of cable. This is only 4 feet 8 inches. (not counting the useless 7" extension cord - see below) Had to hunt for an extension cord or cords. Doesn't reach the outlet the original PS plugged into. Accord replaced the old one for the Nortel phone system. It arrived yesterday and works. Time will tell if it lasts as long as the first one. Judging by previous reviews, there were concerns about the length. The length is sufficient. The only reason for 4 stars is that I don't know how long the product will last.

The plug I received was not the one pictured here but the best replacement corded power supply which Nortel also replaced after all failed power supplies had failed. So I was very happy with what I actually received and not what appears in the photo. The old original Nortel power supplies used on the Call Pilot 100 and 150 are ALL DEFECTIVE after a few years.
