Replaced blades in my Grizzly G1033 after a few years of use. It was a lot cheaper than ordering from Grizzly, and of course the free shipping makes them an even better deal. Installs and works fine.

I hope this helps someone before they buy it. I replaced my old ones with these and immediately regretted it as you can see the blades splintered and the locking bar broke in the process. So rather choose something higher quality than risk damaging the plane or yourself. When you eventually buy them, avoid hardwoods.

Knives are sharp as expected. Although I've only been on a planer with these knives for a few hours, I would say they retain their sharpness after planing some very hard (white oak, ash) boards. There are probably tougher knives out there, they cost significantly more, so I'd say these are good knives for the money, at least for the DIY enthusiast. For professional (intensive) users I can offer more expensive knives so that they do not have to be changed as often.

I have a 20 inch grizzly plane and have been using laminated grizzly knives for a few years thought I would try to save some money and regret it. We probably don't have 200 BF African Mahogany and Walnut through these knives and we get noticeable marks, cracks and the blades are visibly dull and need sharpening sooner than I've ever come across grizzly knives wasted by the fact that I'm after them Had to replace 1 month of installation.
