I have a 20 inch grizzly plane and have been using laminated grizzly knives for a few years thought I would try to save some money and regret it. We probably don't have 200 BF African Mahogany and Walnut through these knives and we get noticeable marks, cracks and the blades are visibly dull and need sharpening sooner than I've ever come across grizzly knives wasted by the fact that I'm after them Had to replace 1 month of installation. For what it's worth, I don't see any visible evidence that these knives are laminated - I can on Grizzly knives.
