ATTRACTIVE, LIGHTWEIGHT AND QUIET

This is an attractive, lightweight product that runs as quietly as a quartz watch. Installation difficulties are moderate for the average DIYer. With the simple and reliable traction chain, you can adjust the speed and change the direction of movement.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Durable

Not a good buy. Fits ceiling fans

Blades or other modifications are required to disperse the air from the fan down the room, it can only blow under the fan, not through the room. I'm not happy but won't be returning as it's important to me to have electricians help with install and removal.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Metal blades withstand the Texas heat and wind for a patio fan!

This time I have a fan that will stand up to the Texas heat and wind as a patio fan! Other fans with plastic blades would buckle in the Texas heat, and a standard fan with flimsy blades would be bent in the wind. This fan has strong metal blades and strong metal arms that hold the blades. Would give it five stars but the wall switch works well and is a bit cheap.

Pros
  • Delightful
Cons
  • Available in white only

Love the fan but hate the 1965 James Bond control box.

It might cut your head off. As others have said, the blades are like blunt machetes. A $75 fan is a steal. The speed controller looks like a box from a bad 1975 movie. Clumsily large and well useless. I love the fan. I'm renovating my house and putting a fan in the living room. In summer my dog chokes and thanks me appreciatively. The stem can be shortened, I shortened mine from 18 inches to 8. It really isn't a smart buy for the price, the only problems are the blades are metal and the stem…

  • One year trial
