Efficient Detection with Inficon-718-202-G1 Combustible Gas Detector Review

I had a very difficult diagnosis of a fuel (LPG) leak on my new aircraft. While this device isn't exactly designed for sniffing gasoline fumes, IT FOUND IT! It responds to even the slightest fume of petrol - meaning if you place it anywhere near an open fuel filler neck, it will immediately start beeping. This has allowed me to find two leaks and I am confident that there are NO more leaks in the fuel tank or aircraft system.

I have a little teardrop shaped camper. It still smelled like propane, but my shop said they checked all the lines and fittings for bubbles and found no leaks. I find this product to be excellent at locating gas leaks. I had to replace my existing gas line with 3/4 inch pipe to support a new water heater. My previous water heater ran on a 1/2" gas line. The replacement required a lot of fittings with multiple threaded pipe connections.
