Virtually no odor when closed and no moisture loss in stored product. I bought a 50ml container for portability and both are top notch. You will not be disappointed with these Infinity Cans.

I bought based on the measurements listed. Height was about 1/8 inch higher than advertised. I had to sand the floor to fit my application. This probably isn't a problem for most situations, but it was for me. Can't go back and try again due to lack of time.

Unfortunately, the container has a liner that won't withstand alcohol extraction from vanilla beans. Called the company and they didn't recommend using it for alcohol extraction. I hope they come out with a better lid liner. I will keep the jar but not for the reason I bought it.

For coffee beans. It holds about 8 ounces of beans and keeps them fresh. Every morning I grind coffee beans for the cup(s) I'm going to drink. I haven't used it for ground coffee, so I can't say if it keeps ground coffee fresh as long as it does with whole beans. This is an airtight seal when the cap is tightened slightly. This is also a glass jar. So be wise in dealing with stone countertops!

I ordered a 1 liter jar and it came with a lid that was all smashed with scratches so I'm sending it back. The packaging wasn't very good and it seemed to rub against cardboard or bubble wrap when shipped. I don't think cardboard should damage the lid of a $30 jar. Made from ultra-cheap polystyrene or some other really lightweight plastic, the lid doesn't scream quality or durability.
