They work. BUT, note that the chip you move from the HP cartridge to this one still tells the printer that it's empty. It's as if the fuel gauge in your car always says empty, even if you've just filled up.

Removing and replacing the chip from old cartridges with new ones takes a few minutes, but it's not bad at all. They contain the instructions and tools needed for the process. The overall performance, toner quality and cost for the entire set of toner cartridges are worth the money. I will definitely buy the whole tonic set again.

Update: The seller gave me a full refund. I bought another toner from this seller and it was fine with no problems. I will also buy this toner again once the chip version is available as it works with my printer at a much lower price than the OEM. The product works perfectly. The problem is that we tried to move the HP chip as directed and broke the chip holder in the process. The toner will not work without a chip. This product is terrible. You have to cut out your old HP chip and, if you don't damage it, reinstall the product they send you and try to get it working. Found this after the return period had expired as we keep products in stock so we don't have enough. Now we're out of ink and we can't go back. all money too.

The ink works well so for the price it's great. Replacing the chip was a little tricky at first, but then you get the hang of it.

Just installed a replacement toner cartridge - very easy once you follow the instructions. I found it easier to insert the chip left to right rather than snapping it in place. The original print quality corresponds to that of an original HP cartridge. The instructions refer to setting the 'Toner low' message to go away with the 'Snooze' option, but I couldn't find that anywhere. I hope I don't keep getting low toner messages.
