The black XL cartridge installed and the print is poor and streaky. I've used this in the past with good results so maybe it was a bad batch but I'm kind of stuck until I can order an Epson cartridge. I read the reviews about updating the firmware, maybe that's why. In any case, it will be a "no” from me in the future.

This is a great deal on your Epson printer. The ink is always so expensive but I like this ink because of the amount you get in the XL cartridges. So it's going to cost you $$$ if you type a lot, and now that we've moved to homeschooling this year, I need to save some money somehow. I love that I found all the colors and the big black cartridge. Great purchase and will buy again.

I bought this replacement after buying a new printer and having run out of the Epson branded inks that came with it. After inserting these cartridges (which was very easy - they fit perfectly) I immediately noticed a decrease in overall print quality. Colors have become less vibrant and lines are now visible on every page. I compared identical sites before and after the switch and was very disappointed. $40 is still a lot of money for ink and I will not buy this brand again.

Bought and six months later when I had to replace the ink cartridges Magenta ruined my printer. The printer became completely useless until I bought genuine Epson inks. .Do not recommend this external replacement for genuine Epson. I suspect the magenta cartridge had a bad chip so it wasn't communicating with the printer. The rest was fine, but the magenta really ruined my office result for two days.

Epson tries hard to get you to buy their overpriced ink. When you buy a printer, don't do the "normal" things and don't update the firmware or turn on automatic updates. There are two reasons. 1) The original ink that came with the printer won't work after the upgrade, and 2) these aftermarket ink suppliers probably won't work for you.
