So I'm one of those almost 6 foot women with 11.5 women's shoes. I can't wear women's socks, but men's socks can be pretty casual. These socks were a great find. I was looking for wool free hiking/active socks which are hard to come by due to the current popularity of merino wool. I also wanted good cushioning and THAT toe height. Likewise. muted colors and no silly logos! These socks pack a punch and stand up to frequent use, regular washing and drying. I've only had them a month but they look the same as the day I opened them. I expect they can be washed and worn for years and am very happy with this purchase.
