Worked fine for a while. I pushed it close to the exhaust and it melted. I don't know how much heat it can take with the hood closed. I recommend using a wire harness and clipping to the coil or RPM sensor.

The clip has a spring loaded locking mechanism that seems to work 9/10 times. Spring loading could be heavier since I use the yoke on bikes that hang outdoors while riding. It doesn't drop off easily, but higher revs won't be picked up unless the loop is securely closed.
