THE BEST TRAINING SHOES the best in trail running

Bought a pair of these shoes for mud running last year. I liked them so much they are now the only shoes I will buy. You are so comfortable. I guess as we get older style doesn't matter as much as comfort lol. But I use them for workouts, cycling etc. Really the most amazing shoes. Your feet can breathe. I just can't say enough amazing things about shoes. NOTE: I went up a half size because I wanted some wiggle room.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • May I add something

My hiking boots

They don't have the best arch support and are a half size too small. But they hold up great and dry quickly. I've worn them on spartan races and primitive trail runs. As long as you go half size, they fit great. If you're going for a really long run, you might want to add an arch support insert. I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for shoes that I know will be tough on them, so the price is high. This is my second Inov running shoe. I can recommend her unreservedly.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Expensive

I love the Inov-8 brand

I love the Inov-8 brand. I already have a pair of Talon 212 women's size 8 and they are a bit narrower than Roclites. I ran about 30 miles on the trail with them. I have no complaints. The first day it seemed like I had octopus tentacles on wet rocks on my feet, I didn't slip at all. You are comfortable now. I bought them for the spartan beast in 2 weeks. This will be a real test of how much slippage I have on slippery walls and Olympus. I may/will update my review after this monster.

Pros
  • Large selection

Extremely painful. Do not use for walking or running.

After walking 2 miles in it, my feet were covered in blisters. Large blisters with a hint of blood inside. The back of the shoe looks like a knife is going into the heel. They hurt so much I had to stop and catch a bus. I couldn't go on. It's not that they're too small, I tried them on when they arrived and I love them. I would only use these shoes for cycling or sitting. I do not recommend them for walking or running. Unfortunately I threw away the box and packaging as I enjoyed trying them on

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Replacement material

Need more toe room

I had 2 other pairs of this brand so decided to try this one. As a disabled person with multiple sclerosis, I have to check my shoes very carefully. I like the ones I've had to the point where dragging my feet will wear them out because I can't get off them properly. I'm on a tight budget and plan things like this carefully. When I received them I noticed that they were a bit different from the others. I've been wearing them for almost a week and after an hour of wearing them they are killingโ€ฆ

Great shoes! suitable for trail running

I bought these shoes two weeks before my first hurdle race. My friend recommended this brand to me and at first I doubted the price and the rave reviews, thinking it was more brand promotion than the actual quality of the shoe: I was wrong! they felt great! I didn't have any pain or blisters while warming up or running. The shoe's ground grip was amazing for the mud and water sections of my race, as well as various obstacles (like walls!). The color was perfect for making me feel a little cuteโ€ฆ

Durable, supportive shoe for narrow feet

I bought my first pair of Roclite 290's after a long search for the best running shoes for narrow feet and they came up on several different lists. Which is odd since they are listed as "wide" via Revain; My guess is that it only has to do with how they are placed and nothing to do with their actual size. My feet are very narrow and they fit like gloves (but for the feet). Anyway, my original pair lasted 2 years (and about 500 miles according to Fitbit) so for the price they're definitely worth

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Safety

THE BEST SHOE IN THE WORLD!

Bought last minute to complete my first Spartan race. It was pouring rain and the mud was so thick that it pulled people's shoes off their feet. The race was run over 5 miles in a reclaimed pit with no safety precautions. Good traction was important for personal safety. I've seen hundreds of people slip and fall due to slippery and muddy terrain. I didn't slip, I didn't fall. I've been asked many, many times by teammates and strangers alike what kind of shoes I wear. The boot, thoughโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few runners
Cons
  • Long delivery time

This size is "3 " width for slightly "narrow " feet

Inov-8 has a great width guide on their website, although Revain's product info doesn't always come with it match the display. I wish ALL shoes had this guide for online buyers. While their 1 to 5 width scale isn't perfect (I've had shoes with a 5 on the scale (Terrultra 260) that fit much narrower than shoes with a 4 on the scale (Trailtalon 235), I did want to try these shoes though). perfect based on their rave reviews.I wear women's running shoes a regular size 8.5 (Nike running shoesโ€ฆ
