🐾 Pet Insight Sand Perch for Small Pets: Enhancing Comfort and Well-being Review

Bought before I had done all the research I was supposed to do on my budgie friend. These types of perches will hurt your legs! I wish I could get a refund ):

Ideal perches for finches, budgerigars and parakeets. Small size. Greet keeps his claws trimmed, I mix mine with wood perch to give them variety. The perfect complement.

Great perch. Fits anywhere in any size cage. In or out of the cage. Birds have their claws filed when they sit on them. Newborns love this because it's easy to hold onto as they learn to sit up from the nest.

I put the perch in the birdcage and before I even closed the cage door, I banged it lightly with my hand and it broke in two. Luckily it was very cheap and my shipping was free so it didn't cost me much. You really do get what you pay for. So I ordered a more expensive one.

I got my first parrot for Christmas this year. He's not very friendly yet. I persevere and give him a lot of attention. I bought this bass to help with his claws as he doesn't let me handle him at all. To my surprise, he loves to sharpen his little beak, so when he bites me, it's a little harder than before. I ordered a small one for my parrot as it was the optimal size for parrots but too small in circumference to touch the claws. Next time I would take 2 sizes or more than the circumference of the marker so her feet are spread so the tips of her nails are touching the rod to file. And even though they advertised it as green, I turned yellow and I didn't want to see yellow. So it is not the color you will receive as advertised. So I couldn't use it at all.

My budgie loved this perch. Within two weeks the nails and beak helped. I let her fly every day and sometimes she lands on my carpet. Before she got that perch, she got tangled in the carpet. She likes to follow my bare feet and she just couldn't even walk across the floor to get to me. What a double disappointment, especially for her!
