Fits jars with thick lids only

I like the convenience of this little thing, but it only fits jars with thick lids, not narrow ones. If you try to use it on skinny ones it won't stop spattering.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Ost in action - painting materials and tools

I used this spray paint this morning. I have arthritis in my hands and it hurts to paint for a long time! This sprayer is very easy to attach and makes spray painting my patio furniture a breeze! Thanks for a great product!

Pros
  • practical article
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Doesn't work as it should.

The red plunger is too big for all the cans I've tried. Squeeze the spray evenly each time the pen is attached. I had to stick with the Rustoleum brand, which worked for every can I used, and resist the temptation at half the price.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Disappear

Worth it! Best in Painting Supplies and Tools

This product is amazing! I have arthritis in my hands and drawing has become much easier for me. Easy enough for my friends four year old daughter to help out, under supervision of course! The only problem I had was that I found it a bit difficult to put the nozzle on the glass as my fingers had lost strength.

  • Great Price

A game changer when using aerosol cans

I found that I just couldn't hold the button (what's it called? Spray Activator? Nozzle?) long enough to get good coverage. I used Krylon clear coat/sealant. The trigger handle is easy to install, doesn't get in the way of shaking the can, and makes a big difference. Recommended for the elderly or with arthritis in the hands.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Low repairability

Spray paint control

I saw them in action at a woodworking fair on YouTube and decided to give it a try. When you spray paint from an aerosol can by pressing down on the nozzle, your hand is squeezing the aerosol can while simultaneously pressing down on it with your index finger. My hand gets tired pretty quickly (advice don't get old). But the atomizer handle means you don't grip the can tightly and pull the trigger, not the button. The hand does not get tired. In the end they are worth it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Much better than overhead trigger grips!

I used overlay triggers on a large project and after about four cans the cap was basically a slip cap that wore out over time to the point that it could no longer support the weight of a paint can. Big! So I bought these which actually attach to paint cans and are much sturdier. They also have better grip when sprayed. I've only used them for a few doses but so far they seem to be better for long term use. The time will show.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Does not work at all with DEFT spray cans

I bought these to make spraying DEFT brand polish easier. Haven't tried it on other brands but it does NOT match DEFT cans at all. It doesn't close completely at the top, but still pressed the nozzle and used up almost half the spray can. I bought another pen from a different brand and it worked perfectly. So I cannot recommend this pen or this brand at all. Maybe it works better on different cans of different brands, but the pen I bought from another brand works with everything, but this one…

Pros
  • New

  • Slightly torn

A must have for big jobs or those who use aerosol cans frequently.

This type of product is suitable for those who regularly use aerosol cans. They're cheap and fairly versatile (although rustoleum jars with built-in triggers aren't compatible with them). The clamp is relatively strong and easy to attach. Significantly reduces hand strain when working with large volumes. The only complaint is that if you frequently maneuver the can/trigger and tilt it at a sideways angle, the can can rotate in the holder, requiring you to stop and reorient the nozzle. It's not…

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen
